"Mom! That sign says 'Las Vegas'! We're in Las Vegas!", he exclaimed.
"No, honey," I explained, "That sign just means if we stay on this road long enough, we'll eventually get to Las Vegas. We're still in Salt Lake."
"Oh," he said disappointedly, and looked around at the gridlocked cars for a minute.
"Well, I know why there are so many people on this road, " he decided, "They were tricked!"
